carried, that General Development Company be given to May 31, 1964, to <br />complete Vero Highlands, Unit 1 and Vero Shores, Unit 1 and that they be <br />given unto May 31, 1965, to complete all other units and further that <br />the necessary and proper action for making the extension on the bonds be <br />completed within the next thirty days, or this Board will call for per- <br />formance of said bonds. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commis- <br />sioner McCullers and unanimously carried, that the bonding company be <br />asked to perform immediately under the provisions of the bond on Vero <br />Tropical Gardens and that John Gould be requested to follow this through <br />and report to the Board at the July 3 meeting. <br />Sam Joyce, Sheriff, appeared before the Board and gave a re- <br />port on the progress of the new jail and requested authorization to pur- <br />chase certain furniture and equipment for the jail. After some discus- <br />sion, Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried, that the Sheriff be authorized to <br />advertise for the additional equipment and furniture he needs for the <br />jail and also that he be authorized to purchase 16 bunk units from the <br />State Prison at a total cost of $480.00. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commis- <br />sioner McCullers and unanimously carried, that Deputy Sheriff bonds for <br />Chester Blair and W. C. Burbage, Jr. with St. Paul Fire and Marine <br />Insurance Company as surety, be approved. <br />sented a <br />Home :and <br />Deacon Brown of Gifford appeared before the Board and pre - <br />deed to property in Gifford on <br />asked the county for financial <br />the. After some discussion, <br />would consider his'request when <br />fiscal year. <br />Wendell Harris, Attorney, appeared before the Board and filed <br />a Petition to vacate Orange Street in Weona Park Subdivision in Wabasso. <br />After some discussion, Motion was made. by Commissioner Waddell, seconded <br />by Commissioner .McCullers and'unanimously carried, that the following <br />Resolution be adopted. <br />
