• <br />RESOLUTION NO., 1480, • <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vero Beach, Florida, <br />is interested and concerned with the growth and development not <br />only of the City of Vero Beach, but, also, of Indian River. County <br />and the State of Florida; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of said City has looked with favor <br />upon the proposed development'of State Road Ai& in Indian River and <br />Brevard Counties and is pleased to know that contracts have been <br />executed for the hard -surfacing of the remaining portions of said <br />road in said Counties which is not now hard -surfaced and, also, <br />for. the construction of a bridge across the Sebastian Inlet, which <br />is necessary for the full utilization of said highway; and <br />WHEREAS, much effort and work has gone into the consummation <br />of the plans for such improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, many individuals and orgaxations deserve great <br />credit for their, <br />results as enumerated; and <br />WHES, the cooperation of the Boards of County Commissioners <br />ring efforts in bringing about the desired <br />'af Indian River and Brevard Counties was absolutely essential to the <br />consummation of the plans for the construction of said improvements, <br />and consummation of such plans could not have been brought about <br />without such cooperation; and <br />WHEREAS, the Boards of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />and Brevard Counties have cooperated to the fullest extent in <br />connection with such improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of Vero Beach believes that proper <br />credit should be given to all persons and organizations having a <br />part in bringing about said improvements; Now, Therefore, <br />349 <br />0 <br />
