Pippin Tractor and Equipment $3,890.00 There being no other bids, Motion was made by Commissioner Macdodald, seconded by Commissioner Haffield and unanimously carried, that the bid of Pippin Tractor and Equipment in the amount of $3,890.00 be accepted. Ralph Lundy of Gifford appeared before the Board to inquire about the traffic light for New U. S. 1 at Gifford. He was advised that the State Road Department had been or would be requested to make a traffic survey to determine just what is necessary. Lisbon Futch and Kenneth Damerow appeared before the Board and presented an aerial photo of the Sebastian Inlet. After consider- able discussion, Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner Waddell and unanimously carried, that the County Engineer be authorized to define, legally describe and advertise the bulkhead line for the area on the south side of the Sebastian Inlet and following the shore line south to the present beginning point of the existing bulkhead line lying just south of the Sebastian Inlet. This description to be made by Beindorf and Damerow who have prepared the land corners -in association with the aerial photographs presented. There shall also be described a traverse of the spoil area which is approximately 500 feet wide and lying between 1400 feet and 5000 feet Southwesterly of the intersection of ALA and the Sebastian Inlet.. And to further authorize the basic application to be made with) the Trustees of the Internal Improvement Fund.for the.above described spoil area and to immediately send to them a marked aerial photograph showing the proposed area to be used for the park and fill area to be used by the Sebastian Inlet Commission. This aerial should also indicate a 150 foot 'easement .parallel to the south shore of the Sebastian .Inlet, and Connecting AIA and the proposed spoil park area. This. 150 foot ease- ment is to.be used by Indian River County and the.Sebastian Inlet Com- 7aissiom pp, an access and maintenance easement.
