PROFESSIONAL SURVEY CONSULTANTS August 15, 2008 Indian River County Attn: Mr, Michael O'Brien, P.S.M. 1801 27th Street Vero Beach, Florida 32960 EYU%g%z A RE: Right -Of -Way Location Survey Along Old Dixie Highway from US 1 North to 69" Street (4 miles +± Project Limits: Entire Right -of --Way of Old Dixie Highway from US 1 thru and 100' beyond 69th Street. Includes all side streets, Rights -of --Way, alleys etc. to a minimum of 100' beyond (east and west) of Old Dixie Highway existing Right -of --Way. Dear Mr. O'Brien: Morgan & Eklund, Inc. is pleased to provide you with the following proposal to provide right-of-way mapping for the above -referenced project. Based on the information provided, I understand the scope of work to include the following tasks: • Proect is to (at a minimum) adhere to County Supplied EXIIIBIT "B" Old Dixie Hwy —US Ito 69 Street Indian River County Right -of -Way Map Checklist. • Establish horizontal control network along R/W corridor • Tie baseline control to Florida State Plane Coordinate System, East Zone, NAD 83/99 • Locate block comers, lot comers, and FEC R/R R/W monumentation along right-of-way lines • Location of FEC R/R tracks and edge of pavement of Dixie Highway and 100' on side streets. • Locate buildings and/or major concrete slabs or features of concern within 25' of R/W • Establish centerline of R/W and set nail and disks (or sufficient monumentation) at all Qen'Lerline points of intersection PC's, PI's PT's and side street centerline intersections, interval not to exceed 1,000' • Certified Comer Reports (CCR) shall be created or updated on all found, used and or established Sectional Control throughout the project. • County is to supply any boundary surveys, recorded plats or relevant information helpful to the positioning of the project from County files within 10 days of notice to proceed. • County is to supply a current Title Search of approximately 116 parcels bordering and/or within established limits along the corridor within 30 days of notice to proceed. • The Right -of --Way mapping project shall be prepared in a fashion as to be easily used by the consultant or P parties as base map for any additional Topographic Surveys as determined by the County via separate work order. 8745 U.B.
