Florida. This Project shall also include but not be limited to other such improvements as the <br /> Extension of 20th Avenue to the North and construction of a Bridge across the Main Relief Canal connecting <br /> 20th Avenue with Aviation Boulevard <br /> PHIS CONTRACT SHALL HEREINAFTER BE KNOWN AS THE "PRIMARY CONTRACT" <br /> OTHER AMENDMENTS <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 1 : <br /> On June 22, 2004, the Board of County Commissioners approved Amendment No. I for the design of a third <br /> building to be located on 43rd Avenue which will accommodate the Supervisor of Elections main office, <br /> Buildings and Grounds and Animal Control facilities . <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 2: <br /> On Tuesday, September 13 2005 , the Board of County Commissioners approved Amendment No.2 for the <br /> design of a fourth building, Emergency Operations Center (second facility to be located on 43rd Ave.), to be <br /> located on 43rd Avenue which will accommodate the Emergency Services Department, <br /> REQUESTED AMENDMENT NO. 3: <br /> The subject of this amendment to The Project (PRIMARY CONTRACT) is to make certain modifications to <br /> the scope of design of the above Primary Contract in response to needs which have been approved by the <br /> Board of County Commissioners as follows: <br /> 1 . August 2, 2005 , deletion of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) from the plans for Building 2 <br /> of the Primary Contract. Also included in said deletion is design work necessary to configure the <br /> former EOC area to a shell space for future expansion. This action was taken in conjunction with <br /> authorization of a new contract for design of a new freestanding EOC on 43`d Avenue under <br /> Amendment 2 as described above. <br /> DELETION OF THE EOC FROM THE BUILDING 2 PLANS THE ARCHITECT HAS <br /> NOT BEEN COMPENSATED FOR THIS REQUIRED ADDITIONAL DESIGN WORK. <br />
