Push-up operated doors shall open and close with a maximum of 30 pounds of <br /> effort utilizing finger lifts in the bottom bar. This type of operation should not be <br /> used for doors over 8 feet wide . <br /> Optional : <br /> C. The rolling counter fire door shall include the Firestop Fire Rated Countertop as <br /> manufactured by The Cookson Company and shall include the following: <br /> I . The Firestop countertop shall be a uniform 1 -5/8" thick throughout and <br /> shall be labeled for 1 - t /2 hour on interior openings. <br /> 2 . The top and edge surfaces shall be [Formica] [Nevamar] [Wilsonart] plastic <br /> laminate as selected. <br /> 3 . Any notching of the countertop shall be performed by the installing <br /> distributor. <br /> 2. 3 Locking Mechanisms <br /> A. The push-up doors shall be secured by means of a concealed sliding bolt <br /> deadlock in the bottom bar operated by a [thumbturn] {cylinder lock]. <br /> 3..0 EXECUTION <br /> 3 1 Installation <br /> A. All Cookson Rolling Counter Fire Doors shall be installed in accordance with <br /> NFPA Bulletin 80 by an authorized Cookson Distributor . <br /> 32 Warranty <br /> A All Cookson Rolling Counter Fire Doors shall be warranted for a period of 2 <br /> years from the time of shipment against defects in workmanship and materials. <br />
