The <br /> work crew was 4 men with a runabout vehicle, a trailer, and a backhoe for a limited amount of time <br /> to lift the few larger trees which were completely blown over. Prior to the arrival of Hurricane <br /> Jeanne we had worked 5 days standing up trees for a total cost of $6,012 . 70 . <br /> Following Hurricane Jeanne we reviewed the site and due to the altered site conditions and the <br /> increased amount of work, we have had to alter our original program. The site conditions are <br /> significantly different than after Francis and the workload has increased considerably, so we have <br /> adjusted our work crew and site equipment requirements. Due to the adjustments the new cost is <br /> $64,832 . 00 or $2 ,026 . 00 per day. The increased costs reflect the addition of several pieces of <br /> equipment such as a track loader, a four-wheel drive tractor, and a 4 WD backhoe/loader. <br /> The breakdown looks like this : <br /> 1 . Francis Cost Estimate - $38 ,481 . 00 <br /> 2 . Work completed - $6,012 . 70 <br /> 3 .
