THURMAY . NOVMER 22nd 1928: <br />The .Board of County Commissioners in and for Indian River County, Florida, met at <br />the Court House in Vero Beach, on Thursday, November 22nd 1928 at 2 o' clock P.m. <br />on call. of the Chairman, with the following members of the Board present: John H. <br />Atkin, Chairman; Geo. A. Braddock; J. 1W. LaBruce; J.J.P.Rami.lton and O.O.Helseth.. <br />Also present was Miles Warren, Clerk. ' <br />The Charman announced that this special meeting was called for the purpose of <br />transacting such business as may properly come before the Board. <br />It was ordered that bridge on road known as Road H-1 be repaired. <br />The bond of Clark S. Rice, as Sheriff, in the sum of $2,000000 with.National <br />Surety Company, a corporation, as surety was approved. <br />The bond of C. A. Vandiveer, as Member of Board of Public Instructions, District <br />No. 2, in the sum of $29000.00 with S.D.Gaines and W.A.Early, as sureties was approve <br />The bond of Louis Harris, as a member of Board of Public Instructions, District <br />d <br />No. 3, in the sum of $29000.00 with Samuel A. Rice; J .0 .Eokhoff and L .P .Po lsom, as <br />sureties was approved. <br />The bond of Walter T. James, as County Superintendent of Public Instrtactions$ <br />in the sum of $1,000.00 with National 'Surety Company, a corporation, as surety was <br />approved. <br />.
