JAN <br />6 <br />A letter was received from Vero Grange ;;199 suggesting that: railings <br />be placed on the steps entering the Courthouse. On motion made by <br />Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and unanimously <br />carried, the County Engineer was instructed to investigate such railings <br />and have same installed. He was also instructed to build a concrete slab <br />to replace the pearock at the south entrance to the Courthouse. <br />Alfred H. Webber, Deputy Clerk, informed the Board that Ralph Harris, <br />Clerk, would like instructions from the Board regarding the giving out of <br />information from the records of the Board. It was the opinion of the Board <br />that, as a matter of public policy, any correspondence that is received <br />prior to its presentation to the Board at a regular meeting should remain <br />confidential until it comes before the Board. Motion was made by <br />Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner Macdonald and unanimously <br />carried, that the Clerk is authorized to enumerate all the items that he <br />knows will be brought before the Board at its next meeting, stating the <br />source only. It is specifically understood that the Board will consider <br />any other matter that may be presented. <br />Commissioner Waddell introduced R. H. Doyle and F. W. Hess, of the <br />staff of the Last Central Florida Regional Planning Council. Mr. Doyle <br />presented a progress report of the accomplishments of the Council. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried, that the following Item to Item transfers <br />be authorized: <br />ROAD AND BRIDGE FUND <br />Account <br />From To <br />951.
