A letter was received from Mrs. E. M. Hickok requesting that <br />a restriction be placed on parking within a certain number of feet of <br />the entrance to the Vero Drive -In Theater. The letter was ordered filed. <br />Pursuant to Section 944.32, Florida Statutes, a copy of the Report <br />of Inspection of the Indian River County Jail perpared by the Division <br />of Corrections Prison Inspector R. C. Haynsworth, dated January 20; 1965, <br />was received and ordered filed. <br />On Motion of Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />Hatfield and unanimously carried, Change Order No. 1, Health Center, in <br />the amount of $338.48, was approved. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />Haffield and unanimously carried that the following exchange for right-of- <br />way on Citrus Road be approved: 24" drain culvert and gate in exchange <br />for 30' right-of-way of West 20 Acres of Tract 7, Section 18, Township 33S, <br />Range 39 E, owned by Edward W and Ruth J. Elliott and Johnny H. Johnson. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />Haffield and unanimously carried that the Vero Beach Press Journal be <br />selected to publish the equalization notice and the delinquent tax list. <br />On Motion of Commissioner Haffield, seconded by Commissioner Mac- <br />donald, and unanimously carried, all further meetings of the Board will <br />begin at 8:30 o'clock A. M. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />Haffield and unanimously carried that Unity of Title must be signed <br />by the applicant for a building permit where the zoning law requires a <br />minimum area of property in association with the permit. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />Haffield and unanimously carried that the parking space as required for <br />residences, not be grass, but shall be an area that is marl, gravel or <br />other approved material. <br />On Motion.made by Commissioner Haffield, seconded by Commissioner <br />Macdonald, and unanimously carried, Carter Engineering Firm was authorized <br />to make a survey of the Orth property on 44th Avenue. <br />BOOK . 9 PAGE 12e7 <br />FEB 101955 <br />
