9�5 <br />.APR 211 <br />BOOK 9 pAt4212 <br />RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, the completion and opening of the bridge over the <br />Sebastian Inletwas an event of great importance, not only to <br />Indian River County, but to the entire east coast of Florida, and, <br />WHEREAS, the ceremonies attendant to the dedication of said <br />bridge were impressive and carried out with credit to everyone <br />concerned and tended to focus public attention upon the importance <br />of this link in vehicular travel through Brevard and Indian Rivera <br />Counties, and, <br />WHEREAS, the arrangements leading up to and the actual <br />ceremonies of dedication necessitated a great amount of work, <br />effort and planning, aftd, <br />WHEREAS, the committee in charge of these arrangements, over <br />which Roland B. Miller was the General Chairman, is entitled to <br />and should receive commendations of all persons interested in the <br />progress of this section; <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners <br />of Indian River County, that we do extend to thin committee and to <br />all those who participated in the dedication exercises, the sincere <br />thanks and appreciation of the Board of County Commissioners, <br />acting on behalf'of all the citizens of Indian River County, and <br />that a copy of this Resolution be sent to Mr. Roland B. Miller, <br />the General Chairman, with the request that he convey the thanks <br />and appreciation of the Board and each member thereof, for their <br />unselfi$h and patriotic service in connection with this outstanding <br />event marking additional progress and.growth of our community. <br />
