WEDNESDAY. MAY 5, 1965 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County met <br />in a regular meeting on Wednesday, May 5, 1965, at the Courthouse, <br />Vero Beach, Florida. All members were present. Also present were <br />John A. Sutherland, County Attorney; Edwin S. Schmucker, County <br />Engineer; Alfred H. Webber and Ruth Elliott, Deputy Clerks. <br />Commissioner Waddell moved that the minutes of April 21, 1965, <br />be corrected to read: the 18th Street, between O. S. #1 and 6th <br />Avenue, project is to be a joint City -County project, participated <br />equally with City and County funds, with the City funds to be taken <br />from the Road and Bridge Fund account. The cost of the 14th Avenue <br />project, between 16th Street and Old Dixie Highway, will be paid <br />for completely by Road and Bridge funds due the City of Vero Beach; <br />and, the work on both projects will be done by the County Road and <br />Bridge Department. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Macdonald <br />and unanimously carried. <br />Upon Motion made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried, the minutes of April 7, 1965, were <br />approved as read, and the minutes of April 21, 1965, were approved <br />as corrected. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />MCCullers and unanimously carried, that the County Attorney be re- <br />quested to prepare a lease between the County and the Rockridge <br />Property Owners Association for a period of five (5).years, with <br />option of renewal by both parties for five (5) years, Said lease <br />to'be subject to the Association making the building available to <br />the general public and pubject'. to rules asahall be adopted by <br />the Rockridge Property Owners Association. This lease shall be <br />prepared along the lines of the lease between the County and the <br />Wabasso Beach and Civic Club, Inc. <br />Boat 9 PACE213 <br />M <br />AY 51965 <br />
