WEDNESDAY, MAY 19, 1965 <br />The County.Engineer presented a survey he had made to <br />relieve flood conditions in the Colored School Subdivision. <br />Upon Motion made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by <br />Commissioner Haffield and unanimously carried, the County Engineer <br />was authorized to obtain rear lot easements for the ditch in Blocks <br />6, 7, 8, Colored School Subdivision. <br />The County Engineer read a letter from the State Road <br />Department stating that a traffic study will be made as soon as <br />possible on Roseland Road. <br />Upon Motion made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by <br />Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried, the Beverage <br />Department be notified that the application of Pennwood Motor <br />Lodge for a beer and wine license, consumption on premises, does <br />conform to the zoning regulation of the County. <br />Upon Motion made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by <br />Commissioner Haffield and unanimously carried the following right <br />of way agreements on Citrus Road were approved: <br />Colin B. Sims & Catherine Sims $465.00 <br />Fred P. Jordan 150.00 <br />The County Engineer reported he had received a letter from <br />the Sebastian City Council formally approving the project to put <br />slurry seal on Lousiana Avenue, North of Main St., and Plant mix <br />at the intersection of Main St. and Lousiana Avenue. The estimated <br />cost of this project is approximately Fourteen hundred dollars <br />(1,400.00).
