FL0041637 <br /> Dear Mr. Olson : <br /> The purpose of this letter is to advise you of possible violations of law for which you may <br /> be <br /> responsible , and to seek your cooperation in resolving the matter. A file review conducted on <br /> March 17 , 2004 , of IRCUD/West Regional WWTF indicates that a violation of Florida Statutes and <br /> Rules may exist at the above described facility. Department of Environmental Protection personnel <br /> noted the following about the above described facility: <br /> A review of the Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs) indicated the following violations : <br /> 1 . The annual average Carbonaceous Biochemical Oxygen Demand (CBOD5) reported for <br /> Outfall D-001 for August through December 2003 and January 2004 were 3 . 09 , 3 . 699 3 . 64 , <br /> 3 . 551 3 . 39 and 3. 45 mg/L, respectively, which exceeded the maximum permit limit of 3 . 0 <br /> mg/L. <br /> 2 . The monthly average CBOD5 reported for Outfall D-001 for September 2003 was 7 . 83 <br /> mg/L , which exceeded the maximum permit limit of 3 . 75 mg/L . In addition , the CBOD5 <br /> single sample maximum result was 12 . 7 mg/L, which exceeded the single sample <br /> maximum permit limit of 6 . 0 mg/L. <br /> 3 . The annual average Total Nitrogen (TN ) reported for Reuse. System R-001 for August, <br /> October through December 2003 and January 2004 were 8 . 22 , 7 . 59 , 7 . 15 , 6 . 89 and 6 . 56 <br /> mg/L , respectively , which exceeded the maximum permit limit of 6 . 0 mg/L. <br /> 4 . The monthly average Total Phosphorus (TP) reported for Outfall D-001 for August 2003 <br /> was 0 . 15 mg/L , which exceeded the maximum permit limit of 0 . 13 mg/L.
