Attachment 1 <br /> Indian River County Utilities <br /> WO . # 4 Rockridge Sewer Collection Rehabilitation <br /> Scope of Services <br /> I . Background <br /> Due to power outages and high water table, Indian River County is experiencing sewage <br /> collection/transmission problems with the system serving the Rockridge subdivision. This initial <br /> project will examine alternatives for system rehabilitation and/or new system to serve the area. <br /> Alternatives to be considered are rehabilitation/emergency power for the existing system, new <br /> vacuum system, and new gravity system. Flow reversal from the back to the front of each lot will <br /> be included where applicable . <br /> ll . Scope of Services <br /> The following tasks are anticipated in preparing a report outlining alternatives to correct/provide <br /> sewer service for Rockridge subdivision : <br /> 1 . Conduct kickoff meeting and collect maps and other project related data . <br /> 2 . Prepare flow projections and preliminary system layouts for each alternative . <br /> a. Rehabilitation of the existing system <br /> b . Vacuum sewer system <br /> c . Gravity sewer system <br /> 3 . Prepare a preliminary opinion of the estimated cost of construction for each alternative . <br /> 4 . Prepare a preliminary opinion of the operational and maintenance cost of each alternative . <br /> 5 . Prepare a summary of the advantages and disadvantages of each alternative . <br /> 6 . Prepare a draft letter report or technical memorandum of the findings of this investigation, <br /> submit to the County for review, and conduct a meeting to review and discuss comments . <br /> Prepare and submit the final report of the findings of this investigation to the County . <br /> 7 . Coordinate with FEMA and prepare a Project Worksheet (PW) for possible funding <br /> 8 . Attend and present findings at one ( 1 ) Board of County Commissioners (BCC) Meeeting and <br /> one ( 1 ) Public Meeting .
