INDIVIDUAL EXCESS LOSS TRANSPLANT PROVISION , <br /> This provision applies only if indicated on the Schedule. <br /> SAFECO will reduce the Individual Deductible for transplant procedures that are : <br /> a . Covered Expenses ; and <br /> b . performed in a SAFECO approved transplant network facility. <br /> The amount of the reduction will be equal to the greater of $ 10 , 000 or 10 % of the deductible , not <br /> to <br /> exceed the amount of the Individual Deductible remaining to be satisfied at the time the transplant <br /> procedure becomes a Paid Claim . <br /> The reduction of the Individual Deductible is limited to a one-time reduction per transplant. <br /> The reduction will apply to the Policy Period in which the Covered Expenses for the approved transplant <br /> procedure become a Paid Claim . <br /> The reduction will not apply if any other discounts are applicable or if the hospital has any other contracts <br /> with SAFECO . <br /> The reduction does not apply to the Individual Advantage Deductible or to the Alternate Individual <br /> Deductible , <br /> LGC 8807 11 /01 <br />
