("the <br /> i Organization") . The Organization provides services through its network of programs (the "Programs"), <br /> which include the following: <br /> Program Description of Services <br /> 1 <br /> E <br /> Counseling Provides individual, marital, and group counseling as <br /> well as adoption services and foster care. <br /> Maurawood Community Outreach Provides home-based services to pregnant women. <br /> Crisis Pregnancy Centers Provides services through crisis pregnancy <br /> intervention, abstinence education and parenting <br /> classes . <br /> Shelters and Residences Provides a homeless shelter for families in Vero Beach. <br /> Provides three homes for developmentally delayed <br /> adults . Provides the Emmanus Residence for persons <br /> with AIDS (closed May 31, 2001) . <br /> Outreach Provides services through the following programs: ` <br /> • Offices of Social Concerns _ <br /> • Belle GIade home visits <br /> • Glade Kids, an after school program <br /> • Pahokee Pals, an after school program <br /> • Okeechobee after school program <br /> • Indiantown outreach program <br /> • Immigration and refugee resettlement <br /> • Summer program for underprivileged children <br /> • Emergency material assistance . - <br /> • Parenting education and minority outreach. <br /> Elder Affairs Provides services through elder case management <br /> services and guardianship. <br /> Housing Office Develops and manages housing programs. <br /> Basis of Accounting: The accounting policies and reporting practices of the Organization conform to U.S. <br /> generally accepted accounting principles. These financial statements are prepared on the accrual basis of <br /> accounting. <br /> Net Assets: Unrestricted net assets are presently available for use by the Organization at the discretion of <br /> the Board of Directors. If the Board specifies a purpose where none has been stated by the original donor, <br /> such funds are classified as Board-designated unrestricted net assets .
