OCT 20 1965 <br />BOOK 9 PACE 346 <br />Mr. Peter Cassara appeared before the Board and requested <br />that two culverts and an access road into his pasture be replaced as <br />they were there before Citrus Road was paved.(between Emerson Avenue <br />and Clemmann Avenue) Mr.' Cassara was reminded that the County already <br />owned this right-of-way under the Murphy Act and the County had no• <br />obligation to grant his request but that it was the policy of the <br />Board, if the property owner desires to purchase the culvert, the <br />Road and Bridge Department will put it into proper grade. , <br />At the request of Attorney Charles Herring, representing <br />Page F. Hopkins, and after reviewing aerial photographs of the <br />property, Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by <br />Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried, that the following <br />Resolution be adopted: <br />4 <br />RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, a request has been made on behalf of <br />PAGE F. HOPKINS, owner of Government Lot 5, Section 31, <br />Township 32 South, Range 40 East, for a Resolution by the <br />Board of County Commissioners stating that the lands lying <br />East of the aforesaid described property and lying West of <br />the bulkhead line are not needed for public purposes, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners did at <br />its regular meeting held on October 20, 1965 consider its <br />future plans and needs and review aerial photographs of the <br />subject property, <br />IT IS NOW THEREFORE RESOLVED, That the Board of <br />County Commissioners do grant the request made to it by <br />PAGE F. HOPKINS, the upland riparian owner, and after due <br />consideration of its future plans, do hereby determine that <br />the lands lying East of Government Lot 5, Section 31, <br />Township 32 South, Range 40 East, and West of the bulkhead <br />line, are not needed for public purposes of the County of <br />Indian River. <br />
