Mr.. Frank Zorc and hisattorney, James T. Vocelle, appeared before <br />the Board and Mr,. Vocelle stated that he has advised Mr. Zorc.that the <br />bees, .in their. location, are in violation of the Zoning Rules'and Reg- <br />ulat•ions.of the County, and requested that the Board stake appropriate <br />action. Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald,:seconded by Care <br />missioner Waddell, and unanimously carried, that the County Engineer <br />be instructed to send a: formal notice, through the Sheriff's Department, <br />that Mr. Bruce Ward remove the bees, and, if he does not do,so, to <br />swear out a warrant -for his arrest. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner. <br />McCullers and unanimously carried, that the proposed plan for extending <br />_Colonial Terrace Subdiv1sion,•presented by James L.'Beindorf, be tentatively <br />approved. <br />Mr. Robert F. Lloyd, representing the St. Johns Drainage District, <br />asked that the Board request the State Road Department to give the <br />right-of-way requirements for the widening of'State Road 60 so that <br />the County can continue to negotiate with the .St. Johns Drainage District <br />in the acquisition of this'.right-of way. On Motion by Commissioner <br />Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner Haffield and _unanimously carried, <br />the request was granted. <br />J. Ralph Lundy,'of the• Progressive Civic League of Gifford, again <br />requested that something be done to relieve street conditions in Gifford, <br />that have existed .for..years and that have'been previously called to the <br />board's attention. He also asked that 31st Avenue and 20th Avenue be <br />checked for heavy traffic during Gifford Homecoming A.ctivities.this <br />week -end. Commissioner Haffield stated: that temporary improvements <br />have been made on the parade route, and moved that the County Engineer <br />be, authorized to pave_,2 th,:gourt-, which runs from North Gifford Road.,. <br />-north to the Gifford Elementary School and to pave .28th Avenue, and <br />further, to begin preliminary construction on 50th Avenue-frofn Road 60`. <br />to Walker.Avenue.
