';WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 5, 1966 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County met <br />in Regular Session at the Courthouse, Vero Beach, Florida, on Wed— <br />nesday, January 5., 1966, at 8:30 o'clock A. M. All members, were <br />present. Also present were County Attorney John H. Sutherland, <br />'County Engineer Edwin S. Schmucker, and Alfred H. Webber and Ruth, <br />• <br />Elliott, Deputy Clerks. <br />The Chairman, Robert W. Graves, asked if there were any <br />corrections to the minutes o2 December 8. and December 28, 1965.. <br />There were none and on Motion by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded <br />by Commissioner Waddell and carried, the minutes were approved. <br />Commissioner Macdonald moved that the Organization be continued- <br />as <br />ontinuedas it is at the present time. The Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Waddell'and unanimously carried. <br />Mrs. .Gladys Vigliano, County,Welfare Worker, requested the <br />approval of home nursing care for Mr. Pat Baxter. On Motion by <br />Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by, Commissioner McCullers and <br />carried, the .request was granted. <br />Mrs. Vigliano reported that Mr. Harold D. Bowie, who is presently ' <br />in Mecca Convalescent Home,• has been approved for Old Age Assistance, <br />effective December 1, and'presented a bill from the. Nursing Home for <br />the months of November and December. On Motion by Commissioner Waddell, <br />seconded by Commissioner McCullers and. unanimously carried., the Board <br />approved the payment of nursing care for Mr. Bowie for the month. o€ <br />December. This would amount to approximately $51.00. <br />The Chairman then recognized Mr. Ellis Duncan who stated that <br />he was present, hoping to hear some discussion on Rosewood. Road., <br />Commissioner Macdonald stated that he was deeply interested in the <br />cost of the project and would like to postpone any further discussion <br />until the Engineer is able to give the Board an actual estimate as <br />he can the cost of the project.
