JAN .5196 , <br />took 9 ma402 <br />The monthly reports of the'County Agent, County Service Officer <br />were received and placed .on file. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried authorizing the transfer of $2,500 <br />from Account No. 951, Contingency to No. 219, Salary, County Attorney. <br />A memorandum was. received from Gould, Cooksey & Fennell stating <br />the present status of various lawsuits which the firm is representing <br />the County. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers•and unanimously carried that the Courthouse observe the <br />following holidaysfor the year 1966: New Years Day, Memorial Day, <br />Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas <br />Day, When any of the above holidays should fall on Saturday, the <br />Friday immediately preceding should be observed. When any of the above <br />holidays should fall on Sunday, the Monday immediately following <br />should be observed; except; when New Years Day falls on Saturday or <br />Sunday, then the following Monday should be observed as a holiday. <br />The several bills and accounts against the County, having been <br />audited, were examined and found to be correct, were approved, and <br />warrants issued in settlement of same as follows: General Fund, Nos. <br />4889 to 4976, both inclusive; Road and Bridge Fund, Nos. 3221 to 3274,- <br />both inclusive; Fine and Forfeiture Fund, Nos. 490 to 503, both inclusive; <br />Such bills and. accounts being on file in the.'office of the Clerk of <br />the Circuit Court, the warrants so issued from the respective funds <br />being listed in the Supplemental Minute Book as provided by the rules <br />of the State Auditor reference to such record and list so.recorded <br />and being made a part of these minutes. <br />There being no further business, onMotion made, seconded and <br />carried, the Board then adjourned. <br />ATTEST: ,A/' 1 <br />RALPH , I3, CLERK <br />RT W.
