i RESOLUTION WHEREAS, a Petition was filed on January 19, 1966, before the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County in which a request. was made by Arthur Lee Henderson for the abandonment by said Board of the existing roadway lying and being in Lot 52 of Espy's Subdivision of Gifford recorded in Plat Book 2, page 36, public records of St. Lucie County, Florida, said land now lying and being in Indian River County, Florida, except for the south 20 feet of said Lot 52; and WHEREAS, it appears from the Petition that said lot running approxi- mately through the center of Lot 52 is not being used by the public. and is not necessary for public use, and WHEREAS, the owner of said Lot. 52 has indicated his willingness to convey for public use as a road the south 20 feet of Lot 52, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners determines that it would be advisable to consider the vacating, abandoning, discontinuing and closing of said road running approximately through the center of said Lot 52, BE IT RESOLVED by the Boardof County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that a public hearing will be held to consider the advisability of vacating, abandoning, discontinuing and closing that portion of the above described road, renouncing and disclaiming any right of the County and the public in and to said land except the south 20 feet of Lot 52, which said public hearing will be held at 9:00 o'clock A. M. on February 23, 1966, in the office of the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, in the Courthouse at Vero Beach, Florida; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a notice thereof shall be published one time in the Vero Beach Press Journal, a newspaper of general circula- tion in Indian River County, which publication shall be at least two weeks prior to the date stated herein, for such public hearing.
