b . Liens have been filed in connection with the Work . <br /> SC- 14 . 02 . D . 1 Add the following paragraphs at the end of paragraph GC- 14. 02. D. led. <br /> ' e . CONTRACTOR fails to make payment to Subcontractors for materials or labor in <br /> accordance with the respective agreements between the CONTRACTOR and the <br /> ' Subcontractors ; <br /> f. the Work for which payment is requested cannot be verified ; <br /> g1 of persistent failure to carry out the Work in accordance with the Contract <br /> Documents , or otherwise unsatisfactory prosecution of the Work; or <br /> ' he of any other breach of, default under or violation of, or failure to comply with , the <br /> provisions of the Contract Documents . <br /> ' SC -14. 07 Final Payment <br /> SC- 14 . 07 . C . 1 . Delete paragraph GC- 14. 07. C. 1 in its entirety and insert the following <br /> ' paragraph in its place: <br /> C . Payment Becomes Due <br /> 1 . Payment shall be made by OWNER to CONTRACTOR according to the " Florida <br /> Prompt Payment Act" ( F . S . Chapter 218 . 70 , et. seq . ) . <br /> SC -14. 09 Waiver of Claims <br /> SC- 14 . 09 Delete paragraph GC- 14. 09.A in its entirety and insert the following paragraph in <br /> ' its place: <br /> A . Acceptance of Final Payment as Release . The acceptance by the <br /> ' CONTRACTOR of final payment shall be and shall operate as a release to the <br /> OWNER from all claims and all liability to the CONTRACTOR other than claims <br /> in stated amounts as may be specifically excepted by the CONTRACTOR for all <br /> ' things done or furnished in connection with this Work and for every act and <br /> neglect of the OWNER and others relating to or arising out of this Work. Any <br /> payment , however, final or otherwise , shall not release the CONTRACTOR or his <br /> ' sureties from any obligations under the Contract Documents or the Payment and <br /> Performance Bonds . <br /> ' SC -15 . 01 OWNER May Suspend Work <br /> SC- 15 . 01 .A Delete the last sentence in paragraph GC- 15. 01 .A and insert the following in its <br /> place: <br /> ' CONTRACTOR shall be allowed an extension of the Contract Times , directly attributable <br /> to any such suspension if CONTRACTOR makes a Claim for an extension as provided in <br /> ' paragraph 10 . 05.
