' SECTION 00100 - Advertisement for Bids <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> 184025 TH Street, Vero Beach, Florida 32960 <br /> IVE <br /> ORI <br /> ' Telephone : (772) 5674000 SUNCOM: 224= 1000 <br /> FAX: (772) 778-9391 <br /> ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br /> Indian River County will receive sealed bids until 2 : 00 PM on Wednesday, August 27 , 2003 . <br /> Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall bear the name and address of the <br /> bidder on the outside and the words "26T" STREET BRIDGE REPLACEMENT" . All bids , either <br /> mailed or walked in , will be received by the Purchasing Division , 2625 19th Avenue , Vero <br /> Beach , Florida , where they will be opened publicly and read aloud at 2 : 00 PM . All bids received <br /> after 2 : 00 P . M . , of the day specified above , will be returned unopened . <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PROJECT NO. 0378 <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BID NO. <br /> ' PROJECT DESCRIPTION: 26TH STREET BRIDGE REPLACEMENT <br /> All material and equipment furnished and all work performed shall be in strict accordance <br /> with the plans , specifications , and contract documents pertaining thereto , which may be <br /> obtained from Indian River County Engineering Division . Copies of the plans and specifications <br /> containing the necessary contract documents may be obtained by deposit of a check made <br /> payable to Indian River County. in the amount of $ 75. 00 for each set, which represents cost of <br /> printing, handling, and mailing and which is non refundable. <br /> ' All bids shall be submitted in duplicate on the Bid Proposal forms provided within the <br /> specifications . A BID BOND must accompany each Bid , and be properly executed by the <br /> Bidder and by a qualified surety, or certified check or cashier's check on any bank authorized to <br /> do business in the State of Florida , in the sum of not less than Five Percent (5%) of the total <br /> amount bid , made payable to Indian River County Board of County Commissioners . In the <br /> event the Contract is awarded to the Bidder, he will enter into a Contract with the County and <br /> furnish the required Performance and Payment Bond . If he fails to do so , he shall forfeit the <br /> said bid Bond as liquidated damages .
