<br />Sealed bids will be received by Indian River County until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, Oct. 15,
<br />2008. Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall bear the name and address
<br />of the bidder on the outside and the words 12th Street Sidewalk from 43rd Ave. to 27th Ave.,
<br />Project No. 0604, and Bid No.2008080. Bids should be addressed to Purchasing Division, 1800
<br />27th Street, Bldg. "B", Vero Beach, Florida 32960. All bids will be opened publicly and read
<br />aloud at 2:00 PM. All bids received after 2:00 P.M., of the day specified above, will be returned
<br />unopened.

<br />All material and equipment furnished and all work performed shall be in strict accordance
<br />with the plans, specifications, and contract documents pertaining thereto, which may be
<br />obtained from the Public Works Department/Engineering Division, 1801 27th Street, Bldg. "A",
<br />Vero Beach, Florida, 32960, (772) 226-1384. Copies of the plans and specifications containing
<br />the necessary contract documents may be obtained by deposit of a check made payable to
<br />Indian River County, in the amount of $100.00 for each set, which represents cost of printing
<br />and handling, which is non refundable.. Communications concerning this bid shall be directed
<br />to IRC Purchasing Department at 772-226-1416.
<br />All bids shall be submitted in duplicate on the Bid Proposal forms provided within the
<br />specifications. BID SECURITY must accompany each Bid, and must be in the form of an AIA
<br />Document A310 Bid Bond, properly executed by the Bidder and by a qualified surety, or a
<br />certified check or a cashier's check, drawn on any bank authorized to do business in the State
<br />of Florida. Bid Security must be in the sum of not less than Five Percent (5%) of the total
<br />amount of the bid, made payable to Indian River County Board of County Commissioners. In
<br />the event the Contract is awarded to the Bidder, Bidder will enter into a Contract with the
