The Contractor shall maintain the sodded area up to the final acceptance date as <br />directed by the Engineer. Grass height shall not exceed 6" without mowing. <br />Clippings shall be removed from sidewalk. <br />K. Article 575-5. The first two paragraphs under this Article are deleted and the <br />following substituted: <br />The contract unit price for sodding shall include the costs of sod, fertilizer (2 <br />applications), sidewalk sweeping after mowing, mowing, pegging disposal of <br />clippings, water, tools, equipment, labor and all other incidentals necessary. <br />L. Traffic Signs: All existing signs which are the property of the Owner shall be <br />transported to the Indian River County Road and Bridge Maintenance Yard by the <br />Contractor during construction if they are within the construction limits. Care shall <br />be exercised by the Contractor during removal, storage and relocation so as not to <br />damage the signs. If any damage occurs, as determined by the Owner's Engineer <br />or Resident Construction Inspector, the sign shall be replaced by the Contractor <br />with no compensation. <br />C. All reflective pavement markers shall be 4" x 4". <br />SECTION 00948 MISCELLANEOUS TYPES OF PIPE <br />A. Subarticle 948-2.3 is modified by the addition of the following: <br />Corrugated Polyethylene Pipe (48" & 54") intended to be used for sub -lateral canal <br />enclosure shall meet the manufacture's specifications for Hancor SURE-LOK F477 <br />perforated dual wall pipe (DW -F4748-0020 & DW -F4744-0020) or approved <br />equal. <br />ON 01000 WATER AND <br />A.
