The back of the hub shall be caulked where the hub threads <br />joint with the pipe. <br />5. Valve Box Adjustments: <br />Cost of valve nut extenders shall <br />adjustments where needed. <br />E. Disinfecting Potable Water Pipelines <br />be included in cost of valve box <br />Before being placed in service, all potable water pipelines shall be chlorinated in <br />accordance with the latest edition of AWWA C-651, "Standard Procedure for Disinfecting <br />Water Mains", except that the use of tablets is strictly prohibited. The procedure shall be <br />approved by the Engineer. The location of the chlorination and sampling points will be as <br />specified by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Water Distribution <br />System Permit.
