Seeley of General Development Corporation was <br />present and,asY.requested by the Board at the February 23 meeting, <br />filed additional affidavits of Orren R. McJunkins, Vice President <br />of General Development Corporation and Robert H. Chesser. It was <br />reported by the County Attorney, that he, the County Engineer and Mr. <br />John E. Banks, representing the Taxpayer's Association had, at <br />separate times, gone around the property and it appeared that the <br />area on the revised map as submitted by the Corporation is under fence <br />and being used for agricultural purposes, except approximately 200 <br />acres in the northeast corner where there is much undergrowth and <br />no fences were visible to the eye. The County Engineer stated that <br />there is a sales map in the office of General Development Corporation <br />showing some of the area on the revised map in lots and blocks. Mr. <br />Seeley stated that the area in question has been fenced and that the <br />fence has deteriorated and is being repaired. <br />Robert Jackson, President of the Taxpayers Association, Mr. <br />Dudley Clyatt, President of the Farm Bureau and. Mr. Charles Davis, <br />representing the Board of Realtors spoke in opposition to the Board <br />zoning this land as agricultural land for tax purposes. <br />'At the request of the Board, Mr. Robert Chesser appeared later <br />in the meeting and stated that he had used all of the land shown on <br />the revised map for cattle grazing for more than five years. <br />The Board acknowledged, receipt of the revised map, affidavits, <br />and legal descriptions as filed, and on Motion by Commissioner Waddell, <br />seconded by Commissioner Macdonald, the following Resolution was <br />adopted: <br />z�V 1vJGJ fT,OF PCE 530 <br />
