Commissioners of <br />Indian River. County, Florida: <br />SECTION I <br />This Resolution shall be known and may becited as <br />"W. R. BELL SANITATION SERVICE FRANCHISE". <br />SECTION 2 <br />For the purpose of this Resolution, the following terms, <br />phrases, words and their'derivations shall have the meaning given <br />herein. When not inconsistent with the context, words using the <br />present tense include the future; words in the plural number <br />include the singular and vice .versa. The word "shall" is always <br />mandatory, <br />(a) "County" is Indian River County, a political sub- <br />division of the State of Florida. <br />(b) "Company" is the Grantee of rights under this <br />franchise, that is, W. R. BELL SANITATION SERVICE, a sole pro- <br />prietorship of W. R. BELL, Fellsmere, Florida. <br />(c) "Board" is the -Board of County Commissioners of the <br />County..' <br />(d) "Person" is any person, firm, partnership, <br />association, corporation, company or organization of any kind. <br />(e) "Territory" means the area located in Indian River <br />County, Florida, outside the corporate limits of any municipality <br />as the same is more particularly defined and described herein. <br />(f.) "Garbage or Trash Service" shall mean the picking <br />up of garbage or trash, hauling the same to a dump and incinerator <br />or any other method of treating garbage or trash. <br />(g) "Garbage" shall mean worthless, offensive matter, <br />offal, refuse, animal or vegetable matter ordinarly from kitchen, <br />market or store. <br />-1- <br />MAR9 <br />8001( <br />PACE 512 <br />
