<br />Resolution No. 1827 adopted by the Vero Beach City Council per-
<br />taining to municipal road tax was received and ordered incorporated
<br />in the minutes of this Board as follows:
<br />RESOLUTION NO S-_..1827
<br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian
<br />River County is authorized, under the provisions of Section
<br />'336.59 of the Florida Statutes, to levy an -annual tax for road.
<br />and bridge purposes; and
<br />WHEREAS, under the provisions of,said Section 336.59 of
<br />the Florida Statutes, it is provided that one-half of the
<br />amount realized from such special tax on property within. the
<br />.City Limits of Vero Beach shall be turned over to said City to
<br />be used solely for, the purpose of maintaining and repairing
<br />the roads and streets of said City; and.
<br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian
<br />River County, Florida' has submitted to the City Council of the
<br />City of Vero Beach, an accounting for the taxes collected
<br />within the City Limits of the City of Vero Beach, from October
<br />1, 1963 to September 30, 1965, under the provisions of Section
<br />,336.59 of the Florida Statutes and which accounting has been r'
<br />presented,to the City Council by the Clerk of the Circuit `
<br />Court of Indian River County, Florida; and
<br />• WHEREAS, the City Council of the. City of Vero Beach, is
<br />satisfied with such accounting and feels that the Board of'. .
<br />.County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida has made
<br />a showing of a proper distribution of all sums to which the
<br />City may have been entitled, during the period specified;:'.'•:t
<br />underthe provisions of'said Section 336.59;..
<br />NOW,.. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE. CITY COUNCIL OF
<br />THE CITY OF VERO BEACH,. FLORIDA that the City of Vero Beach
