AMENDMENT 4 " <br /> FINAL DESIGN AND PLANS PREPARATION FOR <br /> CR 510 from CR 512 to east of 75`h Court <br /> This is an amendment to the existing Final Design and Plans Preparation services agreement <br /> (AGREEMENT), dated November 17 , 2005 , by and between INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, hereinafter <br /> referred to as the COUNTY, and STANLEY CONSULTANTS , INC . , hereinafter referred to as the <br /> ENGINEER. This amendment addresses changes in " Section I — Project limits and Description, Section III — <br /> Scope of Services, Section IV — Time for Completion, and Section V - Compensation ' of the AGREEMENT. <br /> Amendment Description <br /> SECTION I - PROJECT LIMITS AND DESCRIPTION is being modified to incorporate the following <br /> engineering services : <br /> A . Perform two STP borings at the proposed bridge crossing over the slough ( Station 175 +40) and <br /> one STP boring at bridge crossing the Lateral L Canal . <br /> B . Design two paved rural turnouts and design one full median opening at Station 43 +00 . Add a U- <br /> turn lane for the south approach of the full median opening at Station 43 +00 . Design northbound <br /> right turn lanes to four commercial parcels between Station 33 +00 and 47+00 . Revise Basin 1 <br /> drainage affected by these geometric changes . <br /> C . Revise signing and pavement marking plans for the new turnouts, the full median opening, U-turn <br /> lane and the new right turn lanes . <br /> SECTION II — non applicable. <br /> SECTION III - SCOPE OF SERVICES is being modified to incorporate the following : <br /> The ENGINEER agrees to perform professional roadway design and related services in connection with the <br /> project as required and set forth in the following : <br /> A . Geotechnical Investigation — SPT Borings - Soil Investigation GCME, Inc . ) <br /> Geotechnical investigation will include the following tasks : <br /> 1 . Perform two (2) SPT borings (each 85 -ft deep) . One SPT boring will be performed at <br /> each side of the proposed bridge crossing the Slough area; the approximate location of <br /> bridge is at Station 175 +40 . <br /> 2 . Perform one ( 1 ) SPT boring (40-ft deep) at Lateral L Canal bridge for MSE wall design . <br /> 3 .
