Commissioner <br />and carried, that the <br />Waddell, moved, seconded'by Commissioner Macdonald <br />settlement with Okeelanta Sugar Refinery, Inc. <br />for the right of way on Fellsmere Road on the Sebastian River Bridge in <br />the amount of $367.50, be approved. <br />The County Attorney advised the Board that they.have_beep unable <br />to reach an agreement on three other parcels on Fellsmere Road, being <br />the following: <br />1. L. A. Davis & Helen, his wife Appraised Value $512.00 <br />2. Miriam P. Davey, et al Appraised Value $665.00 <br />3. Stanley Smith vs. Davey, et al Appraised Value $210.00 <br />Commissioner Waddell moved,, -:seconded by Commissioner Macdonald and <br />carried, that payment in the amount of the appraised value be authorized, <br />and that the County Attorney and Gould, Cooksey and Fennell be instructed <br />to initiate condemnation proceedings. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner Macdonald. <br />and carried, the County Engineer was authorized to negotiate for right <br />of way, the East 70' of Tract 3 and the East 70° of Tract 6, Section 26, <br />Township 33 S, Range 39 E, and to realign 20th Avenue immediately North <br />of Oslo Road to meet this centerline. <br />The County Engineer reported that approximately two years ago, a <br />policy was adopted to require a minimum of 60' of culvert under a county <br />road and requested that the minimum be changed to 50' where the County <br />installs the culvert. After discussion, Commissioner Waddell moved, <br />seconded by Commissioner Macdonald and carried, that 50° of culvert will <br />be accepted under a county road with the approval of the County Engineer. <br />The County Engineer presented a revised county road program list <br />and Commissioner Waddell stated that he would like to see at least one to <br />one and one-half mile of road paved every year in the densely populated <br />Gifford area. After discussionand viewing the aerial map of the area, <br />Commissioner Waddell moved that the Engineer be instructed to place ,on <br />the road construction priority for acquisition of right of way and pre- <br />liminary engineering, the following streets: 25th Avenue, between South <br />Aim 10.ts,s BOOK g PAGE 679 <br />
