<br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County
<br />met in regular session at the Courthouse, Vero Beach, Florida,
<br />.on Wednesday, August 17, 1966, at 8:10 o'clock A. M. Present were
<br />Robert W. Graves, Chairman, D. B. McCullers, Jr., Vice Chairman;
<br />Donald Macdonald and Dr. B. Qm Waddell. Absent was Commissioner
<br />Jerre J. Haffield. Also present were Edwin S. Schmucker, County
<br />Engineer; Jack Jennings, Administrative Assistant; John H. Sutherland,
<br />County Attorney; and Ruth Elliott and Alfred H. Webber, Deputy
<br />Clerks.

<br />The Chairman read the foregoing Notice for Public Hearing on
<br />the proposed budget and asked if anyone present wished to be heard,
<br />There were none, and on Motion by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by
<br />CommissioRer McCullers and carried, the following preliminary budget
<br />for the year ending September 30, 1967; was adopted:
