10101 P of l <br /> AOo1 .0 <br /> PART-TIME EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT <br /> Between <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br /> And <br /> CLIFFORD J . SUTHARD , P . E . , PROJECT ENGINEER <br /> This agreement is effective as of February 17 , 2009 by and between Indian River <br /> County , a political subdivision of the State of Florida ( " County" ) and Clifford J . Suthard , <br /> P . E . ( hereinafter " Project Engineer ' ) , for part-time employment by the County as Project <br /> Engineer and Review Engineer for various Public Works Projects commencing February <br /> 18 , 2009 and ending September 30 , 2009 . <br /> SECTION 1 . PROJECT ENGINEER ' S DUTIES <br /> In consideration of Project Engineer' s employment by the County , Project <br /> Engineer shall devote attention to coordination and oversight of design and construction <br /> of various Public Works projects for the County and development review if needed . <br /> Project Engineer shall not engage in the compensated practice of engineering or project <br /> management except pursuant to this Agreement unless expressly authorized by the <br /> Public Works Director to do so . <br /> Project Engineer' s work on behalf of the County shall be under the direction of <br /> the Indian River County Public Works Director or his designee who shall determine the <br /> matters to be assigned to Project Engineer, the duties to be performed by Project <br /> Engineer , and standard of performance to be maintained , The Project Engineer shall <br /> be required to make periodic oral or written reports to the County Public Works Director <br /> or his designee or to the County Administrator , further the Project Engineer may be <br /> required to report to the Board of County Commissioners as frequently and in such form <br /> as the County Administrator or his designee directs , The Project Engineer shall work a <br /> maximum of 20 hours per week , <br /> The County will provide adequate space , personnel support and equipment that <br /> in the County Public Works Director' s opinion will provide the necessary resources for <br /> the Project Engineer to perform the required duties . <br /> 1 <br /> F : \ Public works\Cliff Suthard\EMPLOY MENT AGREEMENT\Suthard Employment Agr 02 . 18-2009 , doc <br /> SmeadSoft Reprint Date: Monday, April 23, 2012 - 14: 19 : 33 - OfficialDocuments: 8344, Attachment Id 1, Page I <br />
