Upon Motion by Commissioner Haffield, seconded by Commissioner Waddell, <br />the following Resolution was unanimously adopted: <br />RESOLUTION <br />N0. 66-43 <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida at its meeting on November 9, 1966, that a public hearing <br />is hereby authorized to be held on November 23, 1966, at 9:00 o'clock A. M., <br />at which time the Board will consider transferring an exdlusive franchise <br />from Russell Burks to Urban Development Utilities, Inc., for delivery of <br />sewer and water services to the following described property, to wit: <br />All of Sections 21 and 22, and all of -that part of <br />Section 23 lying West of U. S. Highway 1; all of <br />the North 1/4 of Section 26 lying West of U. S. High- <br />way 1; all of the North 1/4 of Section 27 and the North <br />1/4 of Section 28, all in Township 32 South, Range 39 East, <br />Indian River County, Florida. <br />p , <br />The following proof of publication of proposed zoning changes was <br />read by the County Attorney, and. each item was considered separately. <br />Item No. 1- Commissioner Waddell stated a property owner had contacted' <br />him and stated that they had no objection to the change but would like <br />to see the street which is developed with•houses left R1A. This would <br />be spot zoning and was not considered by the Board. .Upon Motion by <br />Commissioner Haffield, seconded by Commissioner Waddell,ithis change was <br />unanimously approved. <br />Item No. 2: This change was requested by Mr. Julian Lowenstein, as was <br />Item No. 1, In response to a question from the audience., Mr. Lowenstein <br />stated that deed restrictions will keep required floor area to a minimum <br />of 1,000 square feet. (In+.Units 1,2,3 of River Shores Estates, see letter <br />made a part of zoning minutes, County Planning and Zoning Minute Book 1, <br />page 175.) On Motion by Commissioner Haffield, seconded by Commissioner <br />Waddell and unanimously carried, this change was approved. <br />BOOK 10 PAGE 30 <br />NOV I 19 <br />
