MONDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 1966 The Bpard of County Commissioners of Indian River County met in Special Session on Monday., November 21, 1966, at 8:30-0 clock A. M. in.the Courthouse, Vero Beach, Florida. Present were, Robert W. Graves, Chairman, D. B. McCullers, Vice Chairman, and Commissioners Donald Macdonald, Jerre J. Haffield and Dr. B. O. Waddell; Jack Jennings, County Administrator, John H. Sutherland, County Attorney; and Ruth Elliott, and Alfred H. Webber, Deputy Clerks. On Motion by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner Macdonald and unanimously carried, the Following Resolutions were adopted: Resolution No. 66-46 WHEREAS.,.. the County Auditor, after tentatively ascertaining th® proposed fiscal policies Of the Board of County Commissionersof Indian River County;, Florida, for the'fiscal year commencing on the lst day of October, 1966, and ending on the 30th day of September, 1967, did prepare and present to the Board of County Commissioners a tentative budget for .said fiscal year for each of the funds therein as.provided by lav, including all estimated receipts, taxes to, be:levied and balanoes expected to be brought forth and all estimated expenditures, reserves.and balances to be carried over at the end of the.year; and WHEREAS, this.Board did receive and examine said tentative budg et'- for each fund and did require such changes to be made as the Board did deem necessary and the Auditor's.estima.te of rebeipts other than taxes not having been revised, this Board did prepare a statement summarizing all of the tentative budgets showing for each budget in the total of all°budgets the proposed tax millages, the balances, the reserves and the total of each major classification of receipts and expenditures classified according to the classification of accounts prescribed by the Comptroller of the »tate of Florida; and, Nov 211966 8001( 10 PAGE 62
