PROPOSED CITIZENS PLANNING COMMITTEE <br />1. Each commissioner to appoint three (3) willing members. May <br />ormay not be member of present zoning Board. All commissioners should <br />serve ex -officio. <br />2. This committee shall study, hold public hearings, and make <br />recommendations to the board on such subjects as, but not limited to: <br />1. Subdivision regulations <br />2. Area by area review of present zoning <br />3. Public Housing Authortiy <br />4. Present and future roads and highways <br />5. Long range recreational programs and land procurement <br />6. Water and air pollution controls. <br />7. Preservation and conservation of natural resources <br />and wildlife. <br />• <br />3. Recommendations made by this committee should be carefully <br />considered by the Board and action taken within a reasonable length of time. <br />4. The citizens committee shall be without legal authority to <br />expend funds or implement its recommendations. The members of said <br />committee shall serve without compensation. <br />5. The committee shall'meet and elect a chairman and vice- <br />chairman from its own members.. <br />6. The projects or programs to be studied shall be determined by <br />the Board except that without specific instructions from the Board, <br />the committee may, by majority vote, study those.projects or. programs <br />it deems most essential. <br />7.
