E S O' L U T I 0 N <br />NO. 66-52 <br />WHEREAS, THE'.'board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County did on August 10, 1966, by and through Robert W.. Graves; Chairman, <br />make application to the Florida Outdoor Recreational Planning Committee <br />for $54,000 of matching funds for the acquisition and improvement of <br />park properties in the area known as Round Island Park; and <br />r <br />WHEREAS, the Outdoor Recreational. DbvelopmerituCouiicil and the <br />Outdoor Recreational Planning Committee has set up certain guidelines for <br />the making of formal application for such 50% matching funds; and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County is a. public body, being a County <br />authorized by the Legislature of the State of. Florida, and as such meets <br />the criteria of being a public body;hand <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County do desire to officially designate an individual to function as <br />liaison agent at the local level on all matters concerning participation <br />by Indian River County.in the State Program and; further, to assure the <br />cooperation of the County with the State of Florida in all matters related <br />to the grants-in-aid program; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED'by the Board of County Commissioners <br />of Indian River County, Florida, in regular session, this the 7th day of <br />December, A.
