In 1990 , the top three occupations in Indian River County were <br /> administrative support , sales , and services . In 2000 , the top three occupations were <br /> management/professional , sales and office , and service jobs . In 1990 , the top three <br /> industries in the County were retail trade , construction , and health provision ( able 2 . 5 ) . In <br /> 2000 , the top three industries were education , health , and social services ; retail trade ; and <br /> arts , entertainment , recreation , accommodation , and food services . For comparison , the top <br /> three industries in the state of Florida in 2001 were " other services , " it professic nal and <br /> business services , " and " healthcare and social assistance .
