Or equal <br /> Application of chemical selected shall be made to all areas <br /> along foundation walls , around piers and under all concrete <br /> slabs at the following rates : <br /> a . Foundation walls and piers , all sides — 4 gallons per <br /> 10 linear feet, mixed with backfill , to a depth of ( 1 ) foot <br /> below finished grade for concrete ; for masonry, <br /> increase application rate proportionately by depth of <br /> foundation or piers . <br /> b . Within voids of masonry foundation walls or piers , <br /> apply to void at or near bottom of foundation at rate of <br /> 2 gallons for each 10 linear feet. <br /> C, Under all concrete slabs less than 6 feet below finish <br /> grade — ( 1 ) gallon per 10 square feet. <br /> 3 . Concrete Work <br /> Design , material , workmanship and practices shall conform to <br /> American Concrete Institute Manual of Standard Practice <br /> (ACI 315 ) and the Code of Standard Practice of the Concrete <br /> Reinforcing Steel Institute ( CRSI ) . <br /> 13-5 <br />
