edrainage problem created by unusual heavy rains last September <br />and causing flooding of County roads and some private property in the <br />Roseland area was discussed with the County Attorney. It was suggested <br />that the County Administrator discuss the possibility of adjusting certain <br />culverts with Mr. Frank Zorc as a possible means of giving some additional <br />relief to this periodic condition, <br />Commissioner Bogosian nominated Ralph Sexton; Chairman Graves <br />nominated Dewey Reams; Commissioner Dritenbas nominated Arthur R. Jones; <br />Commissioner McCullers nominated John G. Beadle; and Commissioner Macdonald <br />requested further time to 'make a nomination, each as a member of the <br />Zoning Commission of Indian River County, to serve a term at the pleasure <br />of the Board. On roll call, each was unanimously elected. <br />The Clerk was requested to notify each member of their appointment. <br />Commissioner McCullers requested that'a letter be sent by the Clerk to <br />Mr. Al Forney, thanking him for his years of service on the Planning - and <br />Zoning Commission, and that his services have been greatly appreciated. <br />Commissioner Macdonald moved that this Board adopt a Resolution.. <br />recommending and requesting that Dr. B. Q. Waddell and Jerre J. Haffield <br />be nominated for sustaining membership in the State Association of County <br />Commissioners, in gratitude for their services. -The Motion:wa"s'seconded <br />by Commiss ioner- McCullers_. acid unanimous ly . carried.. <br />The several bills and accounts against the County, having been <br />audited, were examined and found to be correct, were approved and warrants <br />issued in settlement of same as follows: .General Fund, Nos. 6404 to 6472, <br />both inclusive; Road and Bridge Fund, Nos. 4105 to 4144, both inclusive; <br />and Fine and Forfeiture Fund, Nos. 650 .to 659, both inclusive. Such bilis <br />and accounts being on file in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit <br />Court, and the warrants so issued from the respective funds being listed <br />in the Supplemental Minute Book as provided by the rules of the State <br />Auditor, reference to such record and list so recorded, being made a part <br />of these minutes. <br />On Motion by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner Mac- <br />donald and unanimously carried, the following named persons were selected <br />to be placed on the Jury List for the year, 1967: <br />JAN 4 1967 BOOK 10 PACE 157 <br />
