Components <br /> The control panel shall include power distribution components for a duplex motor control <br /> center including but not limited to the following components : <br /> 1 . Main Circuit Breaker <br /> 2, Generator Circuit Breaker w/Mechanical Interlock <br /> 3 , Surge Arrestor <br /> 4. Motor Circuit Breaker <br /> 5 , Motor Starters <br /> 6, 120 V. Duplex Receptacle with 15 Amp. Breaker <br /> 7 . Control Power Circuit Breaker <br /> 8 . Generator Receptacle <br /> The control panel shall include control components including but not limited to the <br /> following: <br /> 1 . Control Relays <br /> 2, Automatic Alternator <br /> 3 . Hand-Off-Auto Switches <br /> 4 , Run Lights <br /> 5 , Elapsed Time Meters <br /> 6 , Exterior Alarm Hom <br /> 7 , Exterior Flashing Alarm Lamp <br /> 8 . Phase monitor and shutoffs for each pump <br /> 9 . Seal failure detector with indicator lamp and reset for each pump <br /> 10. RTU data acquisition and control system <br /> C . Component Requirements <br /> 1 . All motor branch circuit breakers, motor starters and control relays shall be of highest <br /> industrial quality, securely fastened to the removable back panels with screws and <br /> lock washers. Back panels shall be tapped to accept all mounting screws. Self- <br /> tapping screws shall not be used to mount any component. <br /> 2 . A thermal-magnetic circuit breaker, appropriately sized for the service and ground <br /> fault interrupting capacity, as manufactured by Square D Company, or approved <br /> equal, shall be furnished for the main breaker. All circuit breakers shall be sealed by <br /> the manufacturer after calibration to prevent tampering. A motor circuit breaker <br /> shall be provided for each motor starter. Each motor circuit breaker shall be <br /> adequately sized to meet the pump motor and station operating conditions. <br /> 3 . A mechanical disconnect mechanism shall be installed on each circuit breaker to <br /> provide a means of disconnecting power to the pump motors. Operator handles for <br /> the disconnect mechanisms shall be located on the exterior of the control <br /> compartment door. <br /> 4.
