APPURTENANCES FOR GRAVITY SEWER SERVICES <br />PART 1 - SCOPE <br />This section describes the materials for appurtenances to be used in construction of gravity <br />sewerage services as shown on the Plans and specified. <br />PART 2 - SEWER CONNECTIONS AT MANHOLES AND WET WELLS <br />The first joint shall be not more than 24" from the outside of the manhole. PVC pipe must <br />enter the manhole through an elastomeric manhole coupling as manufactured by Kor-N-Seal, <br />Inc. or approved equal. <br />PART 3 - CLEAN OUTS <br />Clean -outs shall be provided immediately prior to the service lateral end and where shown or <br />specified. Clean-out sizes for pipe 8 inches or larger in diameter shall be not less than 6 <br />inches in diameter. Clean out sizes for pipe less than 8 inches in diameter shall be of the <br />same diameter as the pipe except at the ends of service laterals where they may be 4 inch <br />in diameter as shown on the Drawings. <br />Materials for Clean-out construction shall be as shown on the drawings. <br />SDIRC Middle School "BB" <br />END OF SECTION <br />02532-1 <br />02532 - Appurtenances for Gravity Sewer <br />J <br />
