Motion was made by Commissioner Dritenbas, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried, that the application for dredge and <br />fill permit, submitted by Re D. Carter Engineering Firm, dated January <br />25, 1967, on behalf of Robert P. McLarty, to dredge and fill certain <br />lands adjacent to Government Lot 1, Section 33, Township 30S, Range 39E, <br />in Indian River County, Florida; be approved. <br />The County Administrator reported that the Custodian of the Court- <br />house has requested permission to get four dust mats which are furnished <br />by a regular service, at a cost of $1.60 each per month. Commissioner <br />Macdonald moved, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and unanimously <br />carried, that the Custodian be authorized to try them. <br />After discussion, the Board directed the County Administrator <br />to reply to the letter of January 27, from Attorney Charles A. Sullivan, <br />advising him that the. County purchased the right-of-way through the r,. <br />property of Mr. Clarence Taylor solely in consideration of the sum of <br />$1,000.00 which was paid to him. Any construction of the road is a <br />matter solely for determination by the Board of County Commissioners <br />and no commitments were made by the Board concerning the construction <br />of this road. <br />The County Administrator reported that the forms for application, <br />for Federal funds for the acquisition and development of parks and <br />recreational areas have been received. Commissioner Macdonald requested <br />approval from the Board td v.Maksthese9spplitations, todbe forwarded to <br />Mr. Ney Landrum, Director of the Outdoor Recreational Committee. Upon <br />Motion by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner Dritenbas <br />and unanimously carried, the request was approved. <br />On Motion by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner <br />Bogosian and unanimously carried, the renewal of the Notary Public <br />Commission for Mr. Ted Williams, was approved. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried, that all members of the Board, the <br />County Attorney, County Administrator, County Welfare Worker, Gladys <br />Vigliano and her Assistant, Anne Smith, be authorized to attend the <br />State Association of County Commissioners annual conference to be held <br />in Cocoa Beach, February 26,27, and 28. <br />FEE 81367 <br />loax 10 va254 <br />
