WEDNESDAY, APRIL SD 1967 <br />Tile Board of County Co issioners of Indian River County, Florida, <br />met in regular session at the Courthouse, Vero Beach, Florida, on.Wed- <br />nesday, April 5, 1967, at 8:30 o'clock A. M. Present were Robert W. <br />Graves, Chairman; D. B. McCullers, Jr., Vice -Chairman; Donald. Macdonald, <br />Richard Bogosian, and Jack Dritenbas. 'Also present were County Admin- <br />istrator Jack -G. Jennings; County Attorney Sherman N. Smith, Jr., and <br />Deputy Clerks, Alfred H. Webber and Ruth Elliott. <br />The Chairman asked if there were any corrections or additions to <br />the minutes of March 8 and March 22, 1967. There were none, and on <br />Motion by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner McCullers <br />and unanimously carried, the minutes were approved as written. <br />Mr. William Taylor, architect,Nsubipitted:the fo1]owing figuresrt- <br />for changea,i:s, the construction of the Courthouse Annex: $616.77 to pour <br />4" concrete cap around building; credit of .$448.05 to delete the flower' <br />boxes and planters; Motion was made by Commissioner Dritenbas, seconded <br />by Commissioner Macdonald and unani.ously carried, that Change Order <br />No. 2 be approved, which will include the above and also adding the word <br />'Annex' to the front of the building. <br />The County Administrator read a letter from the State Road Depart- <br />ment, dated March 22 regarding release of reservation at the intersection <br />of 19th Street and Old Dixie Highw-:y. After discussion, it was moved <br />by Commissioner Bogosian, seco'ded by Commissioner Dritenbas and unanimous <br />carried that the Board approvesthe recommendation of the District Eng- <br />ineer of the State Road Department that the State retain from the present <br />reservation, aright of way for road purposes 35 feet from the proposed <br />centerline of SR 605, Section 88030-2502, affecting Lot 3, Blodk 1, Re - <br />plat of Knight's Addition to Edgewood, Plat Book 4., page 16, Vero Beach, <br />Indian River County, Florida; and consents to the release of that out- <br />side of the 35 feet. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers, the following Resolution was unanimously adopted: <br />APR 5 1967 <br />10 <br />
