The Board received a letter fro Louis L. Schlitt of the Ed Schlitt <br />Agency mithaiatate,ent of values up -dating the contents, and re -stating <br />the values, as previously filed on the buildings owned by the County. <br />He stated the premium on this would run less than $300.00. Mr. Schlitt <br />also recommended valuable papers coverage for the Tax Assessor's <br />office, which would pay up to $250,000 in the event the records are <br />destroyed, to hire a complete new survey and valuation of all properties. <br />He also recommended additional coverage of $20,000 to cover maps, surveys, <br />aeri::1 photographs, drafting,of sectional maps, and reconstruction of <br />addressograph plates. This coverage would be less than $300.00 per year. <br />After discussion, Commissioner Bogosian moved that the Board accept <br />both proposals at a premium not to exceed $600.00. Motion was seconded <br />by Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried. <br />On Motion by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner <br />Dritenbas and unanimously carried, the rlurchase of a Nationat Cash <br />Register posting tray and stand for the Clerk's office was authorized.. <br />in the amount of $91.50. <br />On. Motion by Comissioner Macdonald, secondedby Commissioner <br />Bogosian and unanimously carried, the application of Heard Lee McGriff <br />for admission to the Southeast Florida Tuberculosis Hospital was approved. <br />The monthly reports of the County Service Officer,the County Welfare <br />Worker ..!nd the County Agricultural Agent were received and placed on <br />file. <br />The County Administrator then reported to the Board that he had..... <br />evaluated the bids received for the 1967 Crawler Tractor, and gave com- <br />parisons of the two low bids received, and pointed out the experience <br />the County has had in the maintenance and service of the two companies, <br />and that the County now owns six other pieces of Caterpiller equipment <br />and there are items which would be interchangeable. After discussion <br />and consideration, Commissioner Bogosian oved that the Board accept <br />the bid of Kelly Tractor Company in the amount of $29,432.00.
