kelMQ <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by <br />Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried, that the County Admin- <br />istrator be authorized to advertise for bids for a pick-up truck. <br />Commissioner. Macdonald informed the Board of a proposal <br />received from W. R. Bell Sanitation Service for garbage pickup at <br />Wimbrow Park, twice a week for $5.00 a month, and moved that the <br />proposal be accepted. Motion was seconded by Commissioner McCullers <br />and unanimously carried. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Dritenbas, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried, the following expenditures for¢,repairs <br />to the air -conditioners serving the north wing of the Courthouse Were <br />authorized: 1) Rebuild condenser evaporator fans, replace fan belts, <br />install spacers•in fan motor, replace pillow block and spider bearings <br />for unit serving the upstairs, estimated cost $150.00. 2) Replace 5 HP <br />compressor in the unit serving the downstairs, estimated cost, $425.00, <br />these being separate estimates from Barker Electric Company. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by <br />Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried, that. the Port -o -Let <br />service be discontinued at the Sebastian Inlet Bridge and that signs <br />be placed stating that restroom facilities are available in the Park. <br />The County Administrator informed the Board of a Notice from <br />the Corps of Army Engineers of an application for Modification of a <br />permit by the Indian River County Mosquito Control District on the <br />easterly shore abutting Round Island, and he stated that Mr. John Beidler <br />had discussed the matter with the State Board of Conservation before making <br />the application. It was moved by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by <br />Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried, that the County Admin- <br />istrator be authorized to write a supporting letter to the Corps of <br />Army Engineers, giving the reasons why it is being authorized. <br />The Sheriff filed with the Board a Statement of his appointment <br />of Franklin Wayne Kroegel as a Deputy Sheriff, whose voting precinct <br />is No. 1B , and the said Deputy Sheriff filed hisbond with the Clerk <br />of the Circuit Court, which was presented to the Board. On motion by <br />Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and unanimously <br />carried, the bond of said Deputy Sheriff was approved and ordered filed <br />with the Clerk of the Circuit Court. <br />On Motion by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner <br />Bogosian and unanimously carried, payrolls for State Witnesses, dated <br />April 13, $215.30; and April 21, $83.40, wend•approved. <br />MAY 101967 Nu 10 FACE352 <br />
