In addition, the progress <br /> report will identify any technical or administrative issues that require SWDD' s attention <br /> and the current status of the budget and schedule. <br /> For the purpose of this budget estimate, Geosyntec has included three meetings : (i) one <br /> kickoff meeting with SWDD; (ii) one in-progress review meeting with SWDD; and (iii) <br /> one meeting with the SWDD Board, if requested by SWDD . Project management and <br /> meeting activities proposed herein are only for Tasks 2 and 3 services which will be <br /> performed in the very near future. The scope of work and project management and <br /> meeting support services for Tasks 4 and 5, and the Optional Task 6 will be submitted <br /> to SWDD for approval prior to initiation of each of these tasks. <br /> Task 2 : Emission Offsets Tradine for 2007 Offsets <br /> The scope of services for Task 2 is to provide SWDD with technical and facilitation services to <br /> trade emission offsets from the landfill gas from August through December 2007. Task 2 is <br /> then divided into two subtasks, Tasks 2a and 2b. Task 2a consists of mainly engineering <br /> services and Task 2b consists of trading activities in the CCX. <br /> Task 2a consists of the following activities: <br /> • perform a site visit to the IRCL to inspect the gas collection and control systetm <br /> (GCCS) and recording equipment (this will be performed as part of the kick-off <br /> meeting under Task 1 ); <br /> • review and assemble historic information about the GCCS and the landfill; <br /> • review SWDD and County data such as fuel records to calculate 2007 annual carbon <br /> emissions from County-owned facilities; <br /> • perform calculations to quantify carbon emission reductions due to the operation of <br /> the GCCS in 2007; <br /> • prepare report to present documentation and calculations of estimated emission offsets <br /> from 2007; <br /> • coordinate with CCX and its approved independent verifier to review data to certify <br /> the estimated emission offsets; and <br /> • pay registration fees and register emission offsets at CCX (ten percent need to be <br /> retired after registration per current CCX rules); <br /> IRC CCX Proposal.do <br /> engineers I scientists � innovators <br />
