ATTACHMENT 1 to WORK ORDER NO. 2 <br />Additional Geotechnical Engineering and Grant Application <br />Preparation <br />This Work Order shall be included as an Attachment to the "Continuing Co tract <br />Agreement for Professional Services" (" Agreement") dated March 15, 2001 i, between <br />Indian River County, Florida ("COUNTY") and HydroMentia, Inc. ("Consult nt"), and <br />upon execution and delivery of a "notice -to -proceed" shall become part of the <br />Agreement. It is intended and required that all services described within thi Work Order <br />shall be completed and provided in accordance with applicable provisions ithin the <br />Agreement. <br />Services described within this Work Order shall include those associated ith <br />1)completion of a request for a grant through the St. Johns River Water M nagement <br />District (SJRWMD) Stormwater Management Projects Cost -Share Progra , and 2) <br />additional geotechnical engineering and site investigations associated with the selected <br />site located at the County's facility at the junction of 74th Avenue and SW 4 h Street. The <br />need for additional geotechnical engineering and site work is associated with the <br />decision to return planned facilities to the County's closed C&D landfill site. The <br />presence of buried debris requires further field investigations, and the engineering of <br />methods for management of any buried debris encountered during construction. <br />In its performance of services as detailed within this Work Order, HydroMe <br />provide information, including engineering drawings and calculations, whic <br />considered proprietary to HydroMentia. COUNTY agrees to use such infoi <br />to evaluate its interest in purchasing from HydroMentia, the installed proce <br />Algal Turf Scrubber® or ATSTM, for the specific site application, and only tl' <br />site application, as contemplated within this and previous Work Orders. <br />**END OF ATTACHMENT 1 ** <br />, Inc. may <br />are <br />cation only <br />> known as <br />specific <br />
