General Election held on November 3, 1959, in accordance with the <br />provisions of Chapter 59-486, Laws of Florida of 1959, which said levy <br />shall be used as a maintenance fund for the purposes authorized and <br />i <br />prescribed in the Act creating said District; namely Section 15, Chapter <br />7976, Laws of Florida, as amended by Chapter 12259, of the Laws of <br />Florida. <br />3. Estimates having been made by the Board of Commissioners of the <br />CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN FLORIDA FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT, and a certified <br />copy of the Resolution filed with this Board, as required by law and <br />as estimated by said Board of Commissioners, it is determined and hereby <br />declared that a tax rate of thirty-three hundredths (.33)millupon the <br />dollar be levied and is hereby fixed and imposed and assessed for the <br />year 1967, on all of the property in the County of Indian River lying <br />and being within the boundaries of the Central and Southern Florida <br />Flood Control District, the boundaries of said District being described <br />as including all of the County of Indian River. <br />4. Estimates having been made by the BOARD OF PUBLIC INSTRUCTION <br />of Indian River County, Florida, and a certified copy of the Resolution <br />filed with the Board as required by law and as estimated by said Board <br />'of Public Instruction, it is determined and hereby declared that a tax <br />rate of three and six hundred eighty-nine thousandths (3.689), .11s:upon the <br />dollar be levied, and is hereby imposed on all property in the County <br />of Indian River, the same being three and one hundred eighty-nine thousandth <br />(3.189) mills to meet current expenses incidental and necessary for the <br />operation of Public Schools of the County, and five tenths (.5) of a <br />mill for reserves for County Buildings and Buses. <br />5. Estimates having been made by the Board of Public Instruction <br />for TiX SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 1 and a certified copy of said Resolution <br />having been filed with this Board as required bylaw, and as estimated <br />by said Board, being the rate of millage voted, it is determined and <br />hereby declared that a tax rate of five and seven hundred forty-two <br />thousandths (5.742) mills <br />upon the dollar be levied and is hereby fixed and assessed for the year <br />1967 on all property taxable for such purpose as provided by law in said <br />District comprising all of Indian River County, for the exclusive use lit public <br />free schools within the district. <br />ALki `V7 <br />eonK 10;037 <br />
